Shapes made from Techtron™ 1000 PPS exhibit outstanding dimensional stability due to their minimal moisture absorption and low coefficient of linear thermal expansion. These characteristics make this polyphenylene sulfide easy to machine to close tolerances. Due to these characteristics, this unfilled PPS grade is ideal for structural applications in corrosive environments and for machined components requiring precise tolerances.
