Duratron™ PEI

Duratron™ Polyetherimide (PEI) is family of transparent amber high-performance polymers that combine high strength and rigidity at elevated temperatures with long term heat resistance. PEI offers excellent dimensional stability combined with broad chemical resistance.  Duratron™ PEI grades are commonly machined into parts for reusable medical devices, analytical instrumentation, electrical/electronic insulators (including many semiconductor process components) and a variety of structural components requiring high strength and rigidity at elevated temperatures. Mitsubishi Chemical Group offers Duratron™ U1000 PEI and Duratron™ U2300 PEI as standard products.
